Protect Your Home. Secure Your Future.

The California EBB CRMP Program provides state-backed funding to help homeowners retrofit their properties against earthquake damage — at little to no upfront cost.

The EBB CRMP Program

State-Backed Protection for California Homeowners

The California Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) and Concrete Retrofit Matching Program (CRMP) is a state-funded initiative designed to help homeowners reduce the risk of earthquake damage. Through this program, eligible homeowners receive financial assistance to retrofit their homes — strengthening the connection between the house and its foundation.

The Permitting Process

From Assessment to Approval — We Handle It All

Navigating permits doesn't have to be complicated. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you contact us to the day your retrofit is complete and certified.

01

Initial Home Assessment

A licensed contractor visits your home to evaluate the foundation type, crawl space, and structural conditions to determine retrofit eligibility and scope of work.

02

Program Application

We submit your application to the EBB CRMP program on your behalf, including all required documentation, photos, and eligibility verification.

03

Permit Submission

Once approved, we file for the required building permit with your local jurisdiction. Most permits are issued within 2–4 weeks depending on your city or county.

04

Retrofit Installation

Our state-approved contractors complete the retrofit work — typically in one day — including cripple wall bracing, anchor bolts, and foundation connections.

05

Final Inspection & Rebate

A city inspector signs off on the completed work. Your rebate is then processed through the program, and you receive your certificate of completion.
